Why the name Zémen?
Well, besides the immediate relation between a similar word and conception, Zémen came up from my own name, José Menezes. In Portugal, José is usually shortened to Zé, so: José Menezes -> Zé Menezes -> Zé Men. -> Zémen. But moving on...
I'm José Menezes, a visual designer and artist that likes to tackle new, different or simply odd projects.
As a disciplined graphic artist, drawing is at the basis of every work I produce, like:
- 2D & 3D visuals (illustration, animation, character design, photomontage...);
- Graphic design (logos and branding, print design, packaging, digital presentations...);
- Webdesign (UX & UI design, also including front-end responsive web development).
